Accessibility Statement

(a) Standard. HearthShops is developed against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, Level AA. The conformance target encompasses textual equivalents for non-text content, structural mark-up of headings and landmarks, operability by keyboard alone, contrast ratios meeting the AA threshold, programmatic labelling of form controls, and compatibility with screen-reading software.

(b) Maintenance. Conformance is assessed as part of the ordinary build and maintenance of pages, rather than as a one-time audit.

(c) Limitations. Notwithstanding the above, individual pages may fall short, and both the guidelines and assistive technologies continue to develop.

(d) Reporting a barrier. A reader encountering an obstacle is asked to write to [email protected], quoting the page address and describing the difficulty. Accessibility reports receive a response within five business days and are given priority in the correction queue.
